1. Introduction

Welcome to the LA Esports League 2025 ("Tournament"), organized by the Tech Club LAC. By registering or participating in the Tournament, all participants agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms align with international esports tournament standards, the Esports Association of Nepal (ESAN) guidelines, and the laws of Nepal. Participants are required to review these terms carefully as non-compliance will result in immediate disqualification and potential legal action.

2. Eligibility

The Tournament is open exclusively to students from grade 8 to the bachelor’s level, enrolled in recognized educational institutions within Nepal. Valid identification, including a student ID and academic enrollment verification, must be provided during registration. Teams must ensure all members meet the age and eligibility requirements as per ESAN and international esports standards.

3. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to maintain the highest standards of integrity, respect, and professionalism. Any form of cheating, including but not limited to the use of unauthorized third-party tools, game exploits, or collusion, is strictly forbidden and will result in permanent disqualification. Offensive language, harassment, discriminatory behavior, or any action deemed inappropriate by the organizers will lead to immediate expulsion and potential reporting to relevant authorities.

4. Tournament Structure

The Tournament format, match rules, and schedules will be provided prior to the start of the competition. Changes, if any, will be communicated promptly. Matches will adhere strictly to international standards for each game, and any violations will result in penalties. The decisions of referees, adjudicators, and the organizing committee are final and non-negotiable.

5. Registration and Fees

Participants must complete registration through the official Tournament portal within the specified deadline. The service fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to participant withdrawal, disqualification, or event cancellation due to force majeure. Incomplete or falsified registration forms will result in rejection of the application.

6. Prizes

Prizes will be distributed as per the prize pool allocation announced by the organizers. Participants must present valid identification when claiming prizes. Prizes are non-transferable and subject to applicable deductions as per Nepalese tax laws.

7. Health and Safety

All participants are responsible for their own health and well-being during the Tournament. Regular breaks will be scheduled to ensure participant safety and prevent overexertion. The organizers reserve the right to intervene or disqualify participants if health concerns arise during the competition.

8. Intellectual Property and Broadcasting Rights

By entering the Tournament, participants grant the organizers the irrevocable right to record, broadcast, and use their gameplay, likeness, and related content for promotional and commercial purposes without additional consent or compensation. Participants must not violate any intellectual property rights of the games, sponsors, or organizers.

9. Compliance with ESAN and Nepal Government Regulations

All participants, spectators, and organizers are required to comply with ESAN regulations and the laws of Nepal. Any breach of these regulations will result in disqualification and may lead to further legal action.

10. Disputes and Appeals

Disputes must be reported to Tournament officials within 30 minutes of match completion. Appeals will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges whose decisions are final and binding.

11. Amendments

The organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updates will be communicated via the official Tournament portal or registered email addresses.

12. Liability

The organizers, sponsors, and associated entities are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during participation. Participants agree to assume all risks associated with the Tournament and waive any claims against the organizers.

13. Anti-Doping and Substance Abuse Policy

The use of performance-enhancing drugs or substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification. Random drug tests may be conducted to ensure compliance.

14. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.

15. Participant Acknowledgment

By registering for the LA Esports League 2025, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions. Non-compliance may result in penalties, including but not limited to disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and legal action.
